If you want to lose weight without compromising your overall health, you must follow an approved diet plan prescribed by nutritional experts. Here are some of the approved plans that are usually recommended by doctors today. Check them out and choose the best for your budget and preference.
Option 1: Atkins Diet
This type of diet is perhaps the most popular among the other diets. It has been used for more than ten years and has undergone many revisions. Atkins diet is based on the theory that eating carbohydrates leads to the production of insulin which is responsible for the increased weight and hunger. One good thing about the Atkins diet is that it puts emphasis on the types of fats consumed, but allows all types of dietary fat. For example, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats are selected through saturated and trans fats. It also allows good carbs that will be included in the diet and not restrict all carbohydrates.
Option 2: The Pritikin Diet
This type of diet is basically a high-carbohydrate and very low-fat plan.Glavni goal of this diet plan is to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables and grains that are rich in fiber. This theory is based on the principle that eating low-calorie and low fat foods can increase weight loss and prevent heart disease. Pritikin diet consists mostly of protein, fat and carbohydrate-rich foods. However, the balance between these three nutrients is necessary, because according to this theory, consuming a little of these nutrients means eating too much of other nutrients.
Option 3: Zone Diet
Zone diet provides a wide range of food that will be included in the daily diet. This diet is by following the principle of high-protein low-carb and diet plan. For example, a small portion of protein is mixed with twice the good parts of carbohydrates. Zone diet promotes eating actually balance the amount of each nutrient literally without cutting calories. This type of plan emphasizes protein intake, protein, because it actually increases the feeling of satiety so you avoid eating between meals. Fats that are considered healthy are also encouraged this diet instead of eating saturated and trans fats. These are only the three most common weight loss diet plans that are usually prescribed by nutritionists. However, before you go to train one of these, it is advisable to consult your doctor first to ensure the safety and proper implementation.
